Was looking at Azeks site and they have a deck rail pictured in their Deck main page. I’ve attached the pic. Anyone know the source of the rail? I’ve looked at Azeks site and not seen it but their site doesn’t seem to be working correctly for me. I’m hoping the rail they show is comp or vinyl requiring a min. of mtc compared to painted wood.
So if anyone has knowledge of the rail shown I’d appreciate any help.
the pic is from http://www.azek.com/viewProduct.php?id=5

My guess is that the rail in your pic is not an AZEC product.
might be wood or fypon or some Polyurethane.
Balusters a re definitely not azec.
rail might be able to be approximated with an assembly of azec trim pieces ...

Thanks! Yes, the baluster is the the key. Once I find it I'll be looking to do ~160' of rail for a wrap around porch with it.
My bet is the rail is Fypon or another similar product. I did a layout for a front entry some years back, and the rail and balusters look identical to the Fypon product I downloaded.
I did some research on rails awhile back, don't remember seeing anything like what's in the pic in composites.
I think I found it, or at least one source at http://www.meltonclassics.com/balustrade/balustrade.htm
Thanks.
Looks like a good bet. You probably have a local dealer around somewhere. Maybe not for this brand, but similar and less expensive. The Fypon I priced out was pretty high.
There are 2 firms in N AL offering vinyl posts, rails and fences. Just passed one on Friday on the way to Arab. Not sure where in W Ga you are; maybe not close.
I did an inexpensive (< $3000.00) vinyl railing for a client a while ago - he wanted a comparison with a railing like that.
The equivalent was almost $17K.
No joke.

Who was your source for the vinyl? I wasn't envisoning it being cheap but right now that link is the only gmae in town the only one I've found so far.

Looks like Fypon balusters and rail to me.
