I first saw 1/4 Turn Ball Pattern Angle Stops in a rented condo in Canada during April. The chrome plated brass valves look great.
1. They need less space in crowded under sink areas.
2. The 1/4 turn eliminates the knuckle banging of compression stops.
3. The ball valve eliminates the dried out washer that plagues most stops.
4. The small lever handle does not interfere with the pop-up lever.
5. Downside – Expense. About $3.26 from one manufacturer.
I was able to find 3 manufacturers: American Valve, Greensboro, N.C.
Prime Valves, San Clemente, Ca.
A.Y. McDonald
b My problem is to find a retail location.
b Anyone know a source? Negative feedback on these valves?
