I’ve got quite a few hundred 1.5M by 3M (5′ by 10 ft) by 18 mm 13 ply sheets marked BS6566 (obsolete british spec) and “Schuman Finply” that I salvaged off BIG pallets. I can run the ASTM tests to determine shear and span allowables, but was wondering (can’t find a web source of the data) if anyone knows a source spec or tables for allowable shear and spans for this stuff. (nice pallets in hindsight, I did find a web site that sells new sheets for $114.) On the same subject, any info on the woven bamboo “plywood” that comes on Chinese crates?

For the bamboo, try a search on "plyboo". Last I checked, there were two main distributors in the US. Both in Cal. And only one offered the "plyboo" as a sheet good. Both carried thinner veneers, and flooring. Jeff
