Band board or rim board replacement

I recently discovered some pretty extensive termite damage done to a section of band board on my house while doing a re-wire. The only practical access to the rim board is from behind in the crawl space. I’m thinking of adding some 2×8 p.t. blocking between those areas and an additional p.t. mud sill as well. The damage seems to be contained to the band board and a bit of one floor joist. I’d like to sister a p.t. 2×10 on to the existing damaged joist with galvanized thru-bolts and attach a double joist hanger where it meets the new mudsill and new blocking. I’ll also install some more joist hangers to my new blocking that I install in other areas. Feasibly, I don’t have the necessary time and money it would take to remove the brick and patio slab to install a new rim/band board. The load of the all the floor joists would still be on top of my cinder block foundation wall and newly installed mudsill. Any pros or cons or alternative methods and advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

What you propose (blocking between the joists) is going to be fine to hold them upright-instead of joist hangers-Simpson (and other hanger companies make structural inside corner brackets-some resemble (and maybe are) the face mount tread brackets-they have them about 6 to 9" long. You could then use Simpsons joist hanger screws (1-1/2" long) and drive them in with an impact driver.

Thanks much!
Thanks for the reassurance. I just wanted to know if this is a decent repair for a band board. Normally, I would replace the band board but time and money over rule in this case not to mention 3 other on-going house projects. Just getting to the board would take 2 to 3 days time.
I thought about using a simpson angle bracket but going with a simpson joist hanger saves about $50.00. I have all the materials so, now I suppose it's time to get busy. Termites are evil.
Thanks again,
