I’m thinking of building a bandsaw mill. Don’t know why because I’m sure its easier and cheaper to just buy one but sometimes I get these ideas. Anyway. Does anyone know of any:
1) Source for the wheels
2) Source for plans
TIA

The wheels can come off of a junked import car. Excelent bearings and everything else in those for bandsaw wheels.
Replacing worn tires on those things is cheaper than replacing them on factory bandsaws.
Check old issues of Fine Woodworking. I'm sure there is an article on a guy who made his own. The couple of bandsaws that I have made, in years past, have been a lot like his. Other than that, the best plans are inside your head, and can be changed to match materials that become available.
