Project needs 8 barn doors and a moving wall (2 outside fixed, 2 center panels move)
High end contemporary
The design intention is no bottom track if it can be reliably achieved, which I have never done. Anyone know if anyone makes excellent hardware for this application?
I know it can be done because I saw a system years ago in NYC that worked beautifully. That system _might_ have had a pin on the wall going into a slot on the backside of the slab, but I’m certain there was no pin on the floor and the doors did not rock.

Those work but are visible systems, the system I remember was invisible yet the door didn't flop. I looked in the places I go for better hardware like Hafele and didn't find anything available OTC.
Would require a groove in bottom of traveler.
Edit: it would have to be placed on the floor within the groove behind the fixed panel. Still under the traveler when closed and would help guide the door behind the fixed panel when opening......
