Hi all,I used bullnosed drywall corners and was wondering what methods I could use to wrap them with baseboard mldg. The only thing I have come up with is to angle cut them to taper in back from actual radius of corner.I also thought of caulk but am not sure how that would look.I will be staining molding. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Will

We use bullnose all the time. We have: 22 1/2 cut / short piece across the bullnose and another 22 1/2 degree at each corner. Stain and finish, then caulk the small gaps that appear at the top of the baseboard at the joint / bullnose. If done right it will turn out nice.
If you were up for it (and depending on the complexity of the baseboard profile), you could mill some small radius pieces from solid stock.
plynth blocks made on the drill press and cut in half you have 2 corners turn out pretty good. Sometimes you have to shape the drywall corner for a tight fit.

hi 22.5 degree corners. the small block's are 1 5/8" at the face on 3/4 base
or there is a company that makes base board corners for for round bead http://www.mountainmoulding.com
they work well just a little more work for the shoe
