Basement floor help

I have someone who wants hardwood, or maybe parquet in a basement, trouble is, with the doors to outside, there is not room to put down a vapor barier, and sleepers….and ideas?

    Take a look in FHB #123 (the 1999 Houses issue), p122 for a possible solution.

      *Hi Peter,You should consider a floating floor system, either real wood or cork.The total required height is 1/2 inch, no sleepers.Gabe
