I need to replace a couple of metal basement windows (32″X22.5″) with some vinyl hopper type. Does anyone have any tips on how to remove the embedded windows from the concrete? I’m planning on using my air chisel to chip the units out. Also, the local Home Depots and Lowes only offer their replacements in 32″X19″. I know I could build out the window, but I hate to make the opening smaller. Anyone know a good source for the size I need? Thanks…Keedman

i like vinyl sliders for basement windows, custom made to any size by your local vinyl window people (never Lowes or HD, at least for me)
the sashes pop out easily if you need to open the whole window for whatever reason.
