Ok pros what’s the latest & greats in basement windows? maintenance free please !! Old windows size is 15″ by 33″ at the flanges, ruff-opening in poured walls the best I can measure with the windows in place are 14″ by 31 1/4″. The color white will not go with the rest of the windows & trim. Don’t know if that’s a problem or not in vinyl ??

If the window frames are still in good condition that is the best. Removes the insides and clean paint she frames. Vinyl inserts can be used and come in lots of sizes and vinyl moldings can be used to retro the right size.
I prefer glass block replacements. Higher R-value. You could build one a 3X7 would work but would require adding additional framing.
The windows in place now are the old metal type... so no frames to salvage would be working straight from the poured rough opening. I like the higher R value with the glass block but would like some ventilation in the warmer months. I think that would be a code requirement. Not sure on that.
