I just finished the framing on a house where the homeowner has bought a one peice bathtub and shower module.
The picture below is not the exact one but the same style.
My queestion is how does the sheetrock finish up to the shower? Is there a trim that the sheetrock finish in to?

Make/model of the unit? Typically there is a flange that is fixed to studding and the drywall butts into (or close to) the shell over the mounting flange. The method of installation on this unit isn't obvious from the pic. The mfr's instructions are usually included with the unit; if you don't have them, they can usually be found on the mfr's website, just locate that particular model.
The photo isn't real clear, how is the unit fixed to the studs/blocking? There must be some method of stabilizing the surround/tub skirt.
When all else fails, read the instructions. Usually there's a flange and the module is installed first with the rock lapping over the flange. But some units fasten through the face of the unit (with a trim strip to cover the screws) and can be installed either against framing or against rock.
The easiest way to solve the edge trim problem is to use tile around the edge of the unit.
