I will be painting a section of a bath/shower which consists of several curved sections of plaster (I think) surrounding glass block. The wall in question is in need of minor repair and will require some limited touch-up. In making the repair, should I use plaster or is there a better material? I DON’T want to completely redo the bath, but I would be willing to apply a “skim coat” to the existing wall. In discussing the type of paint to use, several have recommended a water base epoxy, while others have suggested a marine product. Any suggestions and/or experiences?
Thanks Bill

I have twice used solvent based epoxy for your application with great success. Abatron (abatron.com) has been my source.
