b To Weatherizers and Builders:
What type of system do you use to vent to the outside, either thru the basement or the attic? The vent flappers I have seen at home centers are cheap plastic and don’t seem to seal well at all. It would seem that in a crosswind the flappers would be pulled open and therefore pull unnecessary heated or air-conditioned air out of the house. Is there a better product? Does the composition of the vent hose/pipe matter much? Thanx, John
