A customer has a bathroom 6′ x 8′ with one window 2×2. The bathroom has an exhaust fan recommended for a large bathroom. By the time she is done taking a shower the fan drips cold water on her. It does not happen all the time but is more frequent if she leaves the window open. Our weather is cool and wet this time of year. The fan was installed two months ago with the previous fan being rated for a small bathroom. Any suggestions?

I'd guess the vent isn't sloped so the condensation doesn't run out....
or.....the vent goes straight up for a bit......before it bends and slopes out....
and the condensation is trapped in that vertical section..and simply dripping down.
Or......it's installed way wrong..and rain water is getting thru from the outside.....and the only time she notices it......is when she's standing under it.
Either slope it the right way...or try to shorten the height of the vertical....
and if that's not possible....I got no answer!
Maybe insulate the duct or switch to a different duct material.
Good question....Jeff
