no (does ita mean is?)
*I had an inspector who required energy efficient "main" lighting in kitchen and bath (ie florescents). These had to light the whole room, and be swithcable from any entrance (ie no other light could be more easily accessed.) Undercabinet Flors in the kitchen are standard, but the bath was a pain.I believe this was Title 24 in California. Has nothing to do with nightlites...Thats my recollectionAdam
*Yeah, I think that's an energy code req. It's listed in my "Code Check" by Redwood Kardon, page 28. Struck me as an odd place to try to scrimp energy -- how much time do people spend in the bathroom? Whatever.
*Under Calif. Title 24 Efficient lighting such as flourescent is required as general lighthing in kitchens and bathrooms. For specific task lighting such as over the sinks incandescent is ok. I know of no requirements one way or another for night lights.
