Hey all,
I’m trying to replace an old bathroom sink (1986) with a much newer sink, I believe it’s some sort of composite plastic (?) It has the basin, backsplash and countertop all formed into one unit.
It’s about two inches too long on each end to match ther cabinet. Can this type of sink be cut to fit? Router the edges? Any websites to assist?
Thanks in advance.

Sounds like cast resin. Try a little cut on the back or bottom side, see how it goes. Cast resin can be cut with a carbide tip blade. Very distinct smell when cutting.

Any cut in cultured marble would lose the finished edge. If you can cut all off at an adjoining wall, no need to worry about the finished edge. I'm not sure if you can rout an edge on it but again, no finish on the rout if you can.
