We will be remodelling an extremely tiny master bath soon.  My hope is to relocate the vanity from its present in-bathroom location to the adjacent dressing room, thereby freeing up space for a larger shower than we presently have.  There is baseboard (hot water) heating along the wall in the dressing area, which is exactly where I want the vanity to go.

My question is:  can a sink be placed in this area, over the baseboard heating?  The new vanity will be furniture-style, with legs, so heat won’t be blocked.  Are there any code restrictions on doing this (i.e. having water source above heating pipes)?
