can someone recommend a mastic to bed strips of 1″ wide x 1/2″ thick cork as an edge to 1/2″ hwd flooring. because there are no baseboards the cork is used to ease expansion/contraction at the walls. the underlayment is a little uneven around the edge due to the felt over the plywood and some other goof-ups etc. i would like to bed the cork to get it flat, rather than just glue it in place. thanks. john ps: that spellchecker is a killer!

Hi John,
Cork is a wood product so just lay a heavy bead of construction adhesive and gently lay the cork strip in place and flaten flush with a roller wide enough to use the existing wood floor as a benchmark.
