I was looking at laying a granite belgian block edging along my driveway in concrete. I was wondering if anyone has some ideas to make it come out looking good and for it will last.

Thanks Uncle Dunc the site was very good, I still feel like I am over thinking this. If I dig a ditch for the concrete set them in a stiff concrete to the line and just leave about an inch space to mortar the joint this should do it. Is this correct
Sorry, I'm not a paving expert. That's why I linked you to the Paving Expert. :o) If I understand correctly what I see in the text and pictures there, you don't want to imbed the blocks in concrete, you do want a substantial concrete lip to hold the blocks against the drive, and you don't want a 1" mortar joint between blocks or between the block and the drive. Other than that, your plan sounds good.
