I have heard that there are drills called “bell-pull drills” that allow the user to drill holes in walls originally for the purpose of stringing bell pulls for “message boards”, or servant call boxes. The drill made a ~1″ diameter hole and could extend 5~8 feet in a wall cavity. Has any one heard of this or a similar device, and where might I procure such a device.
