I need info. on installing a waste pump for a basement bathroom, will be below main house waste by about 16″, books videos, web sites etc. thanks

It really is not a big deal
1 find a spot close to the sewer outlet (I think this is preferable but it could be anywhere close to a min three inch main)
2 dig hole install plactic pump well
3 install GFI outlet near by.
4 Install slab plumbing as usual with 3 or 4" outlet to plastic well.
5 place pump in well and install 2" line from pump to sewer line installing a check valve followed by a full port ball valve in discharge line.
6 install 2" vent line in lid of pump well to roof.
7 If you need to replace pump call someone else!
