Y’all must go through A LOT of circular saw blades — what’s your fave and how come? Two types: (1) a “being brutal” ~20-tooth framing/demo pt; and (2) a “fine cut” ~40-tooth or so finish blade. Price/performance, durability, kickback, ease of tracking a line, etc.? Does anyone sharpen theirs? Just buy the cheapest bulk pack?
FWLIW (for what little it’s worth) I generally haven’t liked thin-kerf or DeWalt or HSS blades. I have a (unscientifically) good impression of the (thin-kerf!) Marathon dimpled “C3 carbide” blades, in my left-blade PC sidewinder.
I figure over the lifetime of the saw the blades will cost several times what the saw is worth … then there’s the value of something that just works well. TIA
