Best bead bead for 60* & 120* DW corner
Hi All,
My DYI basement project is coming along – rockers just got finished hanging it all this past weekend.
My slightly unusual floor plan employs some interesting angles and now I’m presented with needing a corner bead for 60 and 120 degree corner.
What’s the best to use? I’ve looked at Depot and Lowes – only thing they have is for 90* corners.
Input is greatly appreciated, as always.

Check out trim-tex.com.... if they ain't got it, it don't exist
The paper tape with a built-in metal strip is supposed to be adaptable to any angle, either inside or out. But I wonder if it is as damage resistant as real metal bead.
No-Coat

I like Straight -Flex tape for the odd corners. Its similar to the old metal tape with the paper facing, but has plastic instead of the metal. I think it bonds better to the rock, and will give you a nice, straight corner.
Another vote for No Coat Ultra Flex
It is a paper tape with a flexible plastic hinge - I have been using it for a few years now for all my corners - inside and out
no-coat ultraflex or smart series 90. the 90 is adjustable. it is some sweet stuff. if you have trouble getting it e mail me. I can find a distributor for you really easily.
Thanks for the feedback gentlemen. The No-Coat super flex looks like it would fill the bill but I couldn't find a dealer/distributor within the time constraint I have - I need the stuff today.
I did find the Straight-Flex - also looks like a nice product, in a 2 3/4 width, at a small drywall tool supplier near by.
You guys...um, rock!

not familiar with the 90
I started out using No-Coat Ultra Flex
Then went to No-Coat Ultra Flex Light
and am currently using No-Coat Ultra Flex 325
They are all adjustable
they make a 90deg, a bullnose and some others in 8'9'10' and 12' lengths. I sell them and they are really good. on the 90 deg if you want splay then you just pop the membrane and use it like you want. but i also like the utraflex and 325.
The thing I really like about the ultraflex products are that you can have a seamless run up to 100' long - and being in a roll, it doesn't get dinged up in the van.
Checked your profile, but nothing filled in. Where do you live? and where is it that you sell these products?
sorry shoeman, ill fix that profile right now. and that 100ft length is nice isnt it.
And since it doesn't have a spot for it, I am an outside salesman for an independent Lumberyard.
