Best Method for Hanging Gutters on An…

I am planning to install seamless gutters on a house with angled facia. What is the best way to install?

One contractor specified using hangers that attach to the roof and go under the gutters.

One contractor specified installing blocking then installing the gutters with long screws.

Any ideas, pros/cons?
