Best method for site-cut countertops
I’ve been replacing old laminate countertops in an apartment complex with new laminate countertops. The new ones have rolled fronts and backsplashes. I’ve been cutting the new countertops by clamping a straight-edge to the bottom side of the countertop and cutting with either my worm-drive or a jigsaw.
Anybody got a better way to make these cuts?

Theres a good thread on this we put quite a bit of time in already.
Search for it . If you dont find it someone will or rehash it . Its a good thread though, not trash.
The best was to precut it with a skill saw 1/4 inch long and trim it with several different options . I use a power plane and a grinder with a sanding disk. That way if somthing goes wrong like chipping you are ok.

Thanks for your response. Any idea what folder the thread is in or what the title for the thread is? Thanks again.
