First, I want to make two clarifications:<!—-><!—-> <!—->
<!—-> <!—->
I am only talking about nail punches for trim.<!—-> <!—->

I am not talking about nail “sets.â€<!—-><!—->

(A “nail punch†has a sleeve that slides over hand drive nails allowing you to “punch†them from further away and helps prevent your hammer from either bending the nail, or slipping of the nail and denting the trim. It’s kind of like the new apexes with screw sleeves – but for nails.) <!—-><!—->
<!—-> <!—->
Now that we’ve cleared that up, I use a trim nail punch by Malco.<!—-> <!—->

Is this the best nail punch, or is there what might be considered a better one? <!—-><!—->

Thanks for explaining what a nail punch is to the guys you're asking for advice about nail punches from. ;)
The Malco is the one I've got too IIRC. Can't imagine one much better (or worse). Not a lot to go wrong with 'em. I suppose there could be a 'better' one out there but to me it's on par with something like a pencil or a nail set. Tough to screw up.
its a midget pea shooter!
