Greetings Breaktimers:
In the past few months I’ve thoroughly enjoyed following the discussions here in breaktime, which is why I’ve decided to launch a new feature in our blogs called “Best of Breaktime.”
Since a lot of the info in here is confined to those who are members of the forum and visit regularly, I’d like to help get more visibility to the great photos and articles you all post by featuring highlights on our Web site and in our eLetters.
To kick off this series, I picked Huck’s post today on his wooden surfboard, which is near and dear to my heart since I build wooden longboard skateboards as a hobby.

I’ll do my best to keep up with things but feel free to shoot me an email to alert me of good posts. And if you’d like to help out by contributing to the blogs, reply to this post and I’ll help you get you started.
Regards,
Matt Berger

All mine are pretty darned good.
Yes they are, and a lot closer to "fine homebuilding".
They'll get better frammer. Don't worry. Thought I'd start out with something fun. McDesign and I are talking, and today's post may be closer to what you're looking for:

Seems a little more appropriate!

It's not something pretty one of us built, but it's an important subject that isn't discussed openly often enough.

I'm right there with you. That picture was wrong 5 years ago. To drag it out of the closet now..........well, kinda speaks for itself.

Maybe they can photo shop some safety specs on that operator.
Nice idea, definitely going to follow Huck. Saw your post about San Luis. It's a stretch, but do you know Jake Anderson, grew up surfing there, still does I think though out of Bay Area more.
I know, it's like when guys hear I fished the Berring and they're like "Do you know...", was he on a crab boat? "Oh, I don't know, but he's been up there forever" Long pause....
