I need to replace some 1950 vintage anderson casement (crank out) windows. Who makes the best replacment windows. I am looking at marvin infinity, anderson, and champion. Are there any others I should consider?
I would like to install them myself, but some manufacture do not allow this.
Thanks, any help would be good

I just installed Anderson woodwright inserts.
They were very nice units and very tight.
They have an exterior L-shaped trim piece that is kind of nice.
When inserts 1st came out all the companies were promoting 1 hour per window.
I have never been able to do that yet with any insert.
The woodwrights took 2 men better part of a day to do a 2 window combination.
We removed the exterior trim and sealed the weight cavity (3 1/2" and 4" wide) with styro foam and expanding foam, wrapped the sills. Sanded, stained and varnished the interior sills and stops.
I may have been faster to do a full replacement but I didn't want to mess with the old interior trim.
