Guys,
I have a specific builder in mind to do my next house. He has done some work for me in the past and is a good, honest man. I want him to give me a pretty good idea on what the house will cost before building.I may ask one other builder for a bid. So far I have a three page spec sheet from roof to basement- not alot of pricy stuff either. I figure this way he knows what I want in each room, there are no changes mid stream or requests for upgrades etc. I really don’t want to seem like a pushy pain in the butt on the other hand. What do you all think? Is this a reasonable way to ask for a bid or should I just go with “allowances” for certain tings and hope for the best?
Thanks
Frank
