Best Way To Reseal Concrete Slab Joints?

I have a concrete slab patio next to the house and there is nothing in between two of the slabs and thus every time it rains water flows down between them and eventually into the basement.
What is the best way to seal the joint back up?
Thanks!

The problem is that the water is running toward the house. The slab should be tilted the other way. Get it mud jacked and the mud jacker will caulk the joint as part of the job.
Thanks. You're right, the slab is sloped the wrong way, but jacking is not going to be an immediate option. If I can caulk it now it will stop the majority of the water from draining down and instead it will evaporate. What kind of caulk? I also assume I'll need a backing since the joint space is fairly wide - about 1/2 inch.
Concrete crack filler. But you really want to get it mud jacked.

Thanks Dan, I agree.
If the slab is fairly level form side to side (parallel to house). Clean the sides of gap to insure adhesion, install backer rod, then gun self leveling polyurethane crack filler into gap. This will take about a day to set and probably 3 to cure.
If its not level you'll want the "toolable" stuff. Variety of manufacturers, including PL and Pecora.
If looks are a big concern, a calm day and/or covering once done will keep debris out....stays tacky for a long time and will collect bugs and other treasures.PJ
Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end.
IF these type of guys are around you, you may be surprised just how cheep they can be.
I had a two slabs rised for $250.
As always, thanks for the great advice and insight everyone. This site is an incredible resource and I thank all of you experts who take the time to offer your help.
David,
Look here for the "self leveling, self sealing".

Lowes or HD If I remember correctly.
They have a variety of sealants and crack fillers.
I have used them and they work.
Or try your local masonry supply wholesaler, they will probably have information on what you want.
