Does anyone have any experience with these style balisters? Its not a real challange but I wanted to see if anyone had any neat tricks. Thanks!

Personally, I'd drill-jig the works and use dowels....through the center stile, through the spacers, and then into both end stiles.
*Stan, Armin, Boss, comon youse guys I want 6 cents worth! ;)
*Allen: I have never done that style, but Phils way sounds good.Depending on the situation, you could make an alignment jig and pin these together, or screw and plug the unit together. If time is of no concern, you could mortise and tenon these together. This is probably the most time consuming, but I feel would be the ultimate way. Reality would dictate a less labor intensive way however.
*I guess I'll have to put some dowells in the bottom and nail them down to the treads.
*Just nail it.
*wait, ralph... don't jump until i move the vase !
*Nice job Ralph....now I'm all inspired for Mon. a.m.
*Allen, all the above would be good. Me, since I'm the master at burning up time on mindless detail I would mortice all joints and use square pegs as tenons. Dowel holes just seem to want to drift to much. Are you really going to pay me 6 cents for this? I take MC & Visa.
*Go to where Ralph's photo is. The only tool you'll need is a sawz-all. Looks like this method will get you 21 balisters.Rich Beckman
*Ralph: Nice looking balustrade!
*Thanks, Stan.Allen, let's see a pic of yours when you're done.
