bladder tank or variable speed const….

standard pump and 40 gallon pressure tank or the new variable speed constant pressure “jet pumps.”
A couple bids for our well came in with these “jet pumps” and a couple with a pump and “bladder” pressure tank.
Seems to me that the jet pumps would use more electricity even being 2 phase.
Thanks for any input you’ve got.

Are you sure that the variable speed is Jet Pump?
All of them that I have heard about for wells are submersables.

Now surface mounte vairable speed pumps are used for pressure boosting and distribution systems.
thanks.Due to the low flow of the wells in the area (.25 g/m on our shared) holding tanks are needed. So the submersible pumps to the tank and the something for the tank to the house.http://tinyurl.com/cdsea
