What kind of windows are you installing? Most manufacturers will have an 'flangeless' or 'panning' system available for masonry wall installations. Their documentation should have detailed instructions plus cross-section diagrams detailing the installation. The problem is that all manufacturers use different ID to Rough-opening measurements. This also varies with their own products like a Double hung versus an awning window.
