Ask your local building department. What one does in Florida my not fly in Maine. I would drill and epoxy 5/8 rebar into the concrete foundation every 4'. Leave about 2' of the rod above grade as a tie connecting a vertical piece of rebar bent 90" to tie into the horizonal rebar of the lintel.
