I’ve been searching for ways to solve my water infiltration problem in the basement. During a heavy rain, it weaps in through two vertical cracks in the foundation wall. I’ve decided to dig up the yard in the area of the leak and coat the foundation wall. A product called blue seal looks interesting. Anyone have experience with this stuff? www.bluesealwaterproofing.com.

You might want to check out Blueskin: http://www.demandproducts.com/pdf/info_blueskin.pdf
I used it on my foundation, and so far so good. It's expensive (about $130 cdn for a 66' x 4' roll), but it works (when applied correctly) and it is relatively easy to apply. You would probably have to power wash the wall first though (though you would have to do it for the blueseal too, i'd imagine).
