If you are offering your customers higher end stuff in cabinets, and you don’t know about Blumotion, you have got to get yourself somewhere it’s on display in a kitchen and bath showroom, and try it.
Julius Blum GMBH has a hit with this one, as far as I am concerned.
Blumotion is a series of products that dampen the closing action of cabinet drawers and doors, easing them into place with a slowdown and stop that has to be seen to be believed.
For drawers, it only will work with Blum’s high end Tandem undermount slides, and the Tandembox drawers (drawer sides integral with slides).
For doors, though, I think it can be fitted to anything, as long as the doors are outfitted with self-closing hinges.
Great product information, specs, and installation guides are all available on Blum’s website, as well as on web retail sites where Blum hinges and hardware are sold.

I was thinking of putting the Blumotion slides on a new kitchen I am building for us, but I am a little concerned that it takes too much effort to pull them out, they are too sticky. My wife is gonna complain for sure.
Do they loosen up a bit after use?
I haven't installed any, but the drawers and doors I played with in a display kitchen today, didn't give me any problem in the opening mode. Felt pretty normal.
I've tried them on displays, too, and they definitely
offer more resistance than the cheap ones.
