Not a bad price, but wish it had the gravity base.
Bosch is coming out with a new TS with a digital fence, riveting knife, etc. so you'll see amazon, HD, etc clear out inventory.
The saw is great but the stand sets it above the rest. I got mine 2 years ago and spent $750 with and extra blade for melamine. Never looking back.
Thats the difference in price , the base. I've seen the same saw at two lumber yards my way selling from $520-$550. The one amazon sells in that picture has the cheaper red square tube folding base.
OK...now I'm bummed...lol. Good try anyway...thanks but I'll wait...I'm getting good at waiting. Either wait for the new model or wait till the new model comes out and they really slash prices on the current model.

Besides the optional digital guide and riveting knive, what are the differences between model 4009 and the newer 4109? Is it worth waiting for it to appear in Canadian stores?

Has anybody got the new saw, I just saw that Amazon has got it in stock?The bearing just went out on my old one. Pricing out a new motor from Grainger tommorow. Don't know yet whether or not it's worth fixing or not. Anybody replaced the motor on their's yet?
That's a nice saw, but I'm kinda disappointed that it only lasted three years. I cut alot of wood with it, but you would think it would have lasted longer than that.
