Paying it forward. Someone posted this on JLC. I paid $153 for mine about 5 years ago, and it’s a great saw. Wish I had use for another.

Dustin,
Great saw, great deal! I bought one years ago after watching a demo at a trade show. The one I have is so old you use a long screw driver to change blades(pain in the azz). It is still going strong after all of these years. I think I paid about $160
Great price. Has me thinking. I have a Bosch B4200 which I believe is identical to a 1587 (maybe a big box version?). I've had mine 10-12 years. Mine too has the screwdriver blade change. Anyone know about the B4200?
I saw a demo of the 1590 recently and tried it myself. It rocked.

Buy it and dedicate it to the collins coping foot you always wanted to buy.
Unless you switched over to coping with a grinder.
I cope with a jigsaw, but never needed the foot. I just use a scroll blade, and cut from the top side.
I prefer a barrel grip jigsaw for most finish work, but use the top grip for rough stuff.I wish I had a reason; my flaws are open season
