I have a bosch 4410 slider. The only problem that I have is the poor dust collection of the saw. Why don’t they put a small impeller in the chute to blow the sawdust into the bag?

I think you ought to write to Bosch with the suggestion.
More and more people are concerned about the dust generated by their tools, and consumer demand might get them thinking about finding new/better ways to manage dust.
Festool seems to be enjoying increased success in the woodworking marketplace, and I think the dust collection they have designed into their tools has been one of the major factors.
I assume you have tried attaching a va hose to the Bosch. With most mitre saws, this helps a lot, but certainly doesn't solve the problem entirely.

I have the same saw, and the same problem. The only solution I've found is to keep the bag almost empty, which means about 30 seconds of shop vac time every hour or so. Working with MDF is so bad I'm considering buying a switch activated shop vac to help(another couple hundred bucks on top of the saw price).
I have the same saw and use it only at the shop. I have built a chute behind it and have hooked the duct collector to the chute. It doesn't get it all, but I'd say it get 90%. As has been said, keep the bag empty and remember to turn on the dust collector before you make cuts. I have trouble with the latter, a case of crs!
