I have an older Bosch 4000 that has served me greatly. However, recently (after cutting a lot of PT lumber) I’ve noticed the saw is spraying sawdust out the top and front of the saw as much as out the chute in the rear. Naturally, I’ve made sure the DC enclosure isn’t clogged. Does anyone have an idea to correct this? Thanks.

Could your blade be warped or out of alignment enough so the back edge is hitting the side of the wood and spraying up?

Has your fence shifted so it isn't parallel with the blade?
Put some tape on the underside of the saw plate.
Works for MDF.

I THINK you've already covered this Doug, but I had something similar happen once after finishing up an extensive exterior trim job. I took out the throat plate and noticed that the shroud surrounding the blade - basically the inner aspect of the dust chute - was so full of pine dust and whatnot that the blade threw everything in any which direction it could. I've had it happen twice now, both times after ripping A LOT of pine.
Hope that helps a bit.
