Has anyone run it not this lately? Bought the Bostich angled finish nailer and now its getting difficult to find the nails anywhere local.
Lowes near me doesn’t carry them any more.
Thoughts?
Thanks
Barney

you can run any brand of nails that meet the specs.
Do you happen to know of any off brand names that are compatible with the Bostitch Finish nailer?
Haven't really been able to find any.
have you tried senco
Not yet, when I looked on the box at HD last night the model I have was not listed as one of the compatible ones.
I found that some PC do match, but not all.
Senco 15 gauge DA nails will not fit in Bostitch finish nailers. You may have to go to a local Bostitch dealer to get the nails.
I did a google search on compatibility for the nails and Senco didn't come up at all.
As I said, some of the PC nails to, depending on the angle of the cartrige.
i wasn't sure because i don't own angle finish nailor, just a suggestion to get him to look
I'm sure there a plenty of compatables
No problem. I appreciate the thought. It can be a little frustrated when you buy something and then its difficult to find the supplies for it.Again, thanks for the suggestion.
what degree is the angle?? I have the gas powered Paslode 16 ga. and I think it's 22 degrees. You should be able to find angled nails to fill the bill with the Bostich.

The angle is 25 degrees.
I'm having the opposite problem as you. I went out looking for narrow crown staples for my hitachi stapler. Went to three lumber yards and all they had was Bostitch stuff (slightly different crown width). You might want to find a source on the web and stock up. Thats what I'm going to do.
Amazon probably has the nails you want.

That's what I'm going to have to do. Amazon seems to be the place to go lately for stuff.
I did a search there and found them. Actually talked to Bostitch this morning and they told me any Lowes/HD could actually order them for me.
I took a look online and is it theBostitch N62FNK-2 1-Inch to 2-1/2-Inch 15-Gauge Angled Finish Nailer
If it is the nails are all over the place but Amazon has em and if you get a couple of boxes free freight.
Its is that one indeed. I'll just have to order them from Amazon and stock up on them like Snap pea mentioned.
Its just not that convenient, but it will have to do.
I looked around some more and it seems HD is all around you and they are listing it?
Camden NJ area? should be a bazzillon places that would carry them.
Call HD desk and check.
Actually in Camden county near Cherry Hill. But you are right there are a number of HD's around. I hit 3 of them the other day with no luck. I'll have to try Haddonfield Lumber. They are pretty good about stuff like that.
I get so pissed when the clikee doesn't solve my problems.
I went to the Bostitch home site and it listed like 28 local sales locations for your area, but 26 of them were HD.
I also know in SLC,Ut they carry them.
But I was trying to look up yellow pages in your area but not so good.
I've got the YP open and if you look under Nailing machinery? That's what mine has showing a good list of suppliers.
Thank you. I appreciate all the assistance.
I'm off to Haddonfield lumber this morning. Called and they said they had them.
I actually went to another HD tonight on the way home. Found out the PC 1" and 1 1/4" nails will work in the gun. However the 1 3/4 and 2" will not.Oh well, stocked up on the ones that will.
Is there a Cramers down there? I seem to recall one in the area...."The nearest thing to eternal life we will ever see on this earth is a governmental program" -Ronald Reagan
There are generic bostitch 15ga nails. Real lumberyards should have them. I bought them at "the yard" Carter Lumber. Or just order them, it's cheaper than driving around anymore.
I use generec in everything. It's stupid to buy name brands at twice the price.
I'll have to try the Haddonfield lumber near me. If not I'll just have to order them in mass from Amazon.
