hi all..
just wondering if anyone happens to know of an online retailer that sells smaller quantities of 15 gauge nails for bostitch guns?
toolcrib has some priced around $30ish for 3500ish ct, but i really dont need 3500 of a single size.
just wondering if anyone has had any luck finding smaller quantites, or combo packages similar to what Senco sells containg a few different sizes of nails.
thanks

Oak: Try going to a rental yard. They sell small portions of nails, so maybe you can get some that were returned from the last rental, they usually don't mine breaking up boxes of nails. Good luck
Buy the 3500 and what you don't use, send to me. : ) I'll even spring for the postage!
ha ha...
hell the postage is probably just as much as a full box...
Senco has the right idea by offering a box of 800-1000 with 4 different sizes for 9 bucks or so...
oak, what size and how many? I am assuming this is just a one time thing that you are doing, therefore only requiring a small amount of fasteners. Let us know, I'm sure someone (including myself) would be willing to help you out.
thanks trimmer...
to be honest... i dont even know what ill need or even when i will need them... its gonna be a couple months before we start on the trim in our house, and there are plenty of to-do projects like make some shelves/cabinets in the garage..
just more or less exploring my options...
thanks for the offer... might have to take you up on it...

while on this subject, i just got a box of galv nails to use on external trim. To my surprise, a label on the box said something like ".. nails manufactured from galv wire and were not galvanized after manufacturing, no guarantee they will not rust..." bummer. I understand the concept, what have folks experience been with those (falcon brand from toolcrib, made in Canada). Haven't been able to find Bostich brand in galv type in the local store. Dont like the other 2 options, SS nails, or hot-dip to be done by hand (lotsa trim). Thanks.
