Yep, the same thing happened to me with an 18 Ga Porter Cable finish nailer.

Went on like this until it came time to replace the 0-rings, then it stopped.

I don’ know that Bostich model number; what kind of gun is it?

    Thanks. I think it's an O Ring too.

    It's high power (shoots through LVL) full head framing nailer. Has the attachment for hanger nails. It's a great gun, I just got suprised when it fired. No injuries.
