Read the posts regarding Hitachi nailers and they sound good, but what about Bostitch. Need to buy a nailer soon.

From my experience over the past couple of years Bostitch nailers are wonderful if you like to spend time repairing things. 10 years ago they were great, the last 3 I have bought have needed work in the first month, mostly leaky air seals and broken drive pins. Haven't had a Hatachi break yet. I'd rather buy American but can't afford it when it breaks often.
Thanks for the info. A little disconcerting about Bostitch quality... I too would rather buy US products... getting harder all the time! I've got a trim job coming up, case work, baseboard and cornice mld. so I guess it looks like the Hitachi...
