Anybody got any good suggestions for a bow window roof? Window is about 8′ wide by about 5′ high. Theres about 9.5″ between top of window and the soffit. The projection puts it a little shy of the facia. I’d like to just run soffit around the top on end but not quite sure how to fasten it. I’d like to avoid the little shed roofs i”ve seen (done) in the past because the soffit is so tight.

If it is that close to the soffit, think about some sort of crown detail that will fill in between window top and soffit.
Think of a kitchen wall cabinet up close to the ceiling, with a big crown molding that reaches from cab top to soffit.
Done as an exterior detail, it would be called a frieze, not a crown mold.
thanx for reply problem is its a bow window and i'm dealing with the radius.
Curves can be fun. Get creative!
I've put a 'flat' metal roof on one time - just a slight slope. Go to your fav sheet metal guy with a kraft paper cutout of the top and get him to make you one...it'll come in about 3 pieces with standing seams.
All the best...
To those who know - this may be obvious. To those who don't - I hope I've helped.
