Does anyone know a source for Brass narrow crown staples? I’m weatherstripping windows with bronze strips and want to work a little faster than a nail at a time.
Thanks,
Marion

Few people understand it. Nobody agrees what it is, how to learn about it, or who's responsible for it. It has never been more important

Do you mean brass-plated? I doubt that brass in that thin guage can be made strong enough into small/narrow staples, but I may be wrong.
You might consider stainless steel staples. http://www.stainless-nails-brads-staples.com/ is one source.
Have condsiderd a brad pusher? A spring loaded cylinder that has a beefy handle..insert the brad and just push it in with yer palm..a great tool everyone should have.
Those nails are not too big for it I don't think..if so, use an e channel nailholder and whack it with a hammer..just thinkin out loud.

I haven't ever seen brass staples. Then again I haven't been looking. I would think brass would be too soft.
I have seen what the guy called Monel narrow crown staples. He might have been confused and actually been using stainless steel. But I think Monel would be stiff enough for staples so maybe.
I think there are brass brads that will fit a gun. Surprise me if there weren't.
I seem to remember phosper broze staples for glue and stitch boat building..yer neck of the country.
