I have a circlehead (fixed over a double hung) insulated vinyl window with the glass broken only on the ext. pane. This is in a brick home and the supplier said the window would have to come out. Doesnt seem like a good choice. Any advice. Thanks

Sort of depends on how the mfg. designed and built the unit. What is the brand name? Find the dealer, ask for a service rep to drop by or call you about the proper method of replacement. Or even a 1-800 mfg. phone or a net sight!
In the meantime hope that the info you have been given is wrong!

Initially, I would call your local glass repair shop and have them take a look at it.
If no other reason but to confirm what the rep is saying.
But I've seen those boys do some real tricks.
