I’m back to view some of my experiences in the Ga mountains. Recently bought 4 acres on creek with cabin. It’s in darned good shape except for some neglect on the exterior. Been pressure washing the last two days…messy. There’s a before pic included. Too dark to take a good after pic. Hey I have a DSL connection here! Satellite TV coming Friday.
I didn’t expect 48 degrees in the morning here. Mid 50’s okay…but. No bugs yet, but I have seen some large mosquitoes. Jed Clampetts house(down the hill not visible from cabin) in pic attached. This place has some character for sure. The movie Deliverance was based on this area from reports I hear.
I’m going to start playing golf again. First hole pic attached. Gorgeous scenery after being stuck in Florida for 26 years! I’ll be back with more. Sorry dialup guys. I don’t have a good image resizer with me.

When Deliverance was filmed some of the actors would come into Gainesville to play cards at the American Legion post. My mom played blackjack with somebody famous. Burt Reynolds maybe?
They all stayed at a an Inn in Clayton, Ga. And I know for a fact that the banjo boy lived just outside of Clayton as of '89.

Looks like Jed's truck, too. Have fun with your new project and post more pics.
If having a low wage work force was good for a country's economy then why hasn't Mexico built a fence?
That's Jed's NEW truck.; )+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++"Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd." Voltaire
