Sometime more than ten years ago I bought a paintbrush and it came pre packaged with a small tube of a liquid that was probably called brush conditioner. It worked really well to get the brush cleaner faster when washing out the paint. I have tried several professional paint stores and big boxes trying to find the stuff and they all act like I’m crazy. Never heard of such a thing.
It was not paint conditioner but I think it was made by Flood.
Anyone heard of this?

The only actual brush conditioner I have ever seen is in art stores for artists brushes, dont know if that was what you had. Ceramcoat makes a pretty good one that all of the (art) painters I know use.
My house painter uses actual hair conditioner on his brushes periodically, maybe that would work for you.
Naive but refreshing !
