I would like to build an arbor off the rear of my house. The arbor will be in 3 sections; two about 4 foot deep and approx 10-15 foot long, with the third section about 20 x 20 foot. Plan to use 6×6 or 8×8 cedar posts with 2×6 or 2×8 support pieces and 2×6 cross pieces for shade and support for some kind of vine. The arbor will not be attached to my house in any way. If I was doing this normally I would dig holes below the frost line (Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas) and pour concrete piers, use a plate to keep the wood from being wet all the time and build the arbor.
I have bedrock (limestone or sandstone) less than a foot down however and would like to know what I should do to place the posts? Keep in mind that I am in tornado alley and the arbor must stand up to high winds.
Thanks.

drill into the rock and pour a pad with rebar epoxied in. There is a simpson tube mix that fits a normal 11oz caulk gun.
Pour with anchor bolt to fit a Simpson post base bracket and mount to that for mount and hold down. Sway brackets above can deal with lateral wind force.
